Bethany Rose Lehman arrived into the arms and hearts of her labor and delivery nurse Mother, and Dad and sisters on August 22, 2011. The grandparents and Aunts even get a turn to hold her when Becca and Hannah are busied elsewhere momentarily. We are so thankful for this wonderful new gift to our family!

Settled in Birmingham
Your prayers were and are needed and we thank you for each moment that you brought Samuel and the rest of us to our Father Who sees, cares, understands, heals, and comforts us.
The time in AL was intense to say the least. Samuel's long incision is healing well overall (except for a small infection). He has a long way to go to get back on his feet and continues to have respiratory issues, but he was released to go home today. His parents lives have taken a huge turn and they will not be returning to Israel as planned for this next year, as he has declined his Albright Fellowship in order to be close to the Children's Hospital in Birmingham. Jonathan was to have put on his funny doctoral hat that represents the work (with much thanksgiving!!) for these last 6 years, at graduation this Saturday, but it is not just words to say that God is in this as well and they and we have been given much Grace in the form of trust in these days. Please do be praying for a job and a place to live. They are presently with Jennifer's parents whom they had been visiting for the past month and who graciously received us last week.
We came home Sunday night thankful that God had delayed the birth of Amy and Ryan's third child. We have no birth announcement yet! We'd certainly appreciate you keeping them in your prayers as well!
His Love through you is seen and felt and deeply appreciated!

We are pleased and thankful to share that Jonathan successfully defended his dissertation theses with no revisions needed. We praise God for His faithfulness in granting the perseverance needed to complete this 6 year project - we'll gather together with friends and family to celebrate his graduation mid August. We just enjoyed 3 weeks together here and look forward to more time in Aug. before they return to Israel for post doc work and discern the next direction.
Yea, Messiah's Women's LAX Team for their distinguished play - undefeated in Middle Atlantic Conference play taking them to second round NCAA playoffs!
Heather won't tell you, so we will that she was honored by the MAC conference as Coach of the Year and was given the privilege of coaching the in the North/South NCAA All Star Game.
